Third Duty

So I was right. This tattoo and that voice... or rather, person, are connected. However, I can't figure out the relevance of the numbers. 666 and 669. The only one with significance I've found is 666. "Let him who hath understanding reckon the number of the beast, for it is a human number. Its number is six hundred and sixty six." A demonic number, but I see no relevance with Jr. Aside from a number and red hair, in fact, I can't see any significance.
That, and I'd expect such an impressive demon to be taller than five feet.
Still, it answers nothing aside from the voice. If he's 666 and I'm 669, where are 667 and 668? Furthermore, what's our relationship? I didn't ask how old he was, but he couldn't have been much older than 13. Too large a gap for brothers, too small a gap for offspring. With the obvious gone, anything else becomes pure conjecture.

Now that I'm finding everything a bit easier, I have to say, for the most part, this is quite the peaceful little island. I'm told that random fights in the apartment are actually rather rare. I've found quite a few interesting books in the library. I admit to being surprised - I wasn't expecting such a diverse selection here.
Peaceful or not, I get the feeling that this island is full of more surprises than just the stock of a library.
