Eighth Duty
Jan. 5th, 2009 01:48 pmAttention, students. I hope you've enjoyed the break.
With the old math teacher, as I hear, being a bit on the unpredictable sideand the fact that the grades he left are ridiculous formulas just to fail everybody, it has come to my attention that, to be blunt, I'm not sure where everyone's abilities lie.
Therefore, I arranged a little test to help me determine that. It's not graded, as if that will calm anyone down. I simply want to know what level I need to be teaching at.
And if you happen to hear about this beforehand and try to skip, don't worry. Everyone in my class is going to take this sooner or later; best to get it over with now.
((Yes, Gaignun is giving people a test as soon as they come back from break. What adick teacher. If you want to, you can say roughly how good they are at math, but it's not necessary.
Also, unless there already is one that I've never seen, I'd like to consider this as a way to start a list of students. Perhaps there will be some sort of use for it in the future.))
